Moonwalk
I mentioned in a post a couple of months ago that me and a friend are planning on doing the Edinburgh Moonwalk.  This is a sponsored walk, done in Edinburgh, overnight.  It's in two weeks time (21st June).  We're doing the full marathon and hoping to complete it within 7-8 hours.  All the money raised from this goes towards breast cancer research.

If anyone would like to sponsor me, I've set up an online sponsor form which you can find at www.justgiving.com/abitabhaskar

Thanks everyone.

bowling
Hi All,

A couple of months ago, Dougie posted a message asking if anyone fancied going bowling sometime.  We've both been busy since then, so it hasn't happened, but we've finally got stuff sorted.

We're going to go next saturday, 21st June.  Don't know where yet (possibly the one at the showcase), but it'll probably be sometime in the afternoon.  Who fancies joining us?

Birthday Ceilidh
Hi All,

It's my 25th birthday in a couple of weeks and to celebrate, I'm planning on having a ceilidh.

It's going to be in the Food Factory, on Saturday 10th May, from 7.30pm until midnight. Tickets are £6 and are available from me.

It should be a really good night, so I hope you can all make it.

Help!
FAO of anyone who knows how to use LaTeX, I really need some help.  My supervisor's been at me to put my references into LaTeX using bibTeX.  I've been reading the guide I have, but it's no use whatsoever.

Can anyone help?

Hi People.

The iO ceilidh is now definately happening!!!

Food Factory, Saturday 19th January, 7.30pm onwards.  Tickets cost £5 and are available from both me and Sam.

If last year was anything to go by, it should be a fantastic night.

Hope to see as many of you there as possible.

news
A couple of bits of news.
1)  Due to lack of a band (and time) we're having to postpone the ceilidh to January.  The new provisional date is Saturday 19th, which is the weekend after the exams, so no one will have any revision worries.
2) I'm moving offices today!  The new one is enormous and we all have a filing cabinet each :)
I'm somewhat excited.

ceilidh
Hi All.
After the success of last year's iO ceilidh, me and Sam have been keen to organise another one for this Christmas.  We've got a provisional date of Saturday 8th December and we're hoping to have the same band as last year (who were amazing!).  We'll probably be starting to sell tickets in the next couple of weeks.  If anyone's intersted, could you let one of us know.
Hope to see you there.
